Always an answer

After breakfast Nani told Zuzu, her loved granddaughter, a story. Zuzu said the stories were like having friends visit (ziyaret). This was Nani's story:
A father loved his 2 daughters very much. After they married (
evlendiler), he visited (ziyaret etti) them. He asked his older daughter if there was anything she wanted. The daughter said, "Please pray for rain (yağmur için dua et) so my vegetables will grow (büyümek) and give us food for winter." So the father said he would pray.

Then the father visited his younger daughter who made beautiful clay pots (kil kaplar). The father asked her what she wanted. The younger daughter said, "Please pray for dry weather (kuru hava) so my pots will dry (kurutmak) and I can sell (satmak) them to buy (satın almak) food for winter."
The father said, "One daughter wants rain. The other daughter wants no rain. Which daughter should God help?!"
     Just then (
tam o sırada), the daughter's little son said, "Grandfather, I asked God to help both (ikisi birden) my mother and my aunt."
"And what did God tell you?"
The little boy answered, "God said you should build a room where mother's pots can dry and God will give rain for the plants to grow."

     Zuzu smiled.
