My grandmother is a student

Her name is Gogo. It means “grandmother”. Gogo lives in Kenya. It is a country in Africa. Gogo is 90 years old. She is in class 4 in school.
When she was a little girl her family was poor. She could not go to school. She worked to help her family. Then she married. She had her own family.
But she dreamed (أن تحلم / rüya görmek ) to go to school. Finally her dream came true. Gogo is now in school with her great-great-grandchildren. She is learning to read and write and do math.
Why go to school if you are old?
Gogo sees children who do not have hope (أمل / umut). She sees children who do not know what to do. She wants to show them they can succeed (ينجح  / başarılı ). She tells girls, “Education is your wealth ( ثروة /  servet ).”
Gogo shows that education is for everyone. It does not matter who you are, where you were born, or how old you are. Education is not just for a few!
